As the name suggests, thandai has all the qualities to keep you cool during the scorching heat of summer. The added advantage of fibre-rich khas khas makes the beverage even more nutrional. Try this 5-minute recipe at home now!
Khas khas seeds - 2 tablespoons Milk - 300 ml Sugar - 5 teaspoons Almonds - 10 Cardamoms - 2 Whole black peppers - 5 Pinch of saffron Ice cubes
You can soak the khas khas with almonds and black peppers overnight.
Drain the water and grind the contents to get a paste.
Take a blender and add the khas khas mixture, milk, saffron, cardamom, and sugar.
Blend to get a frothy beverage.
Add ice cubes and garnish with some chopped nuts, and the thadai will be ready.
