Garlic parathas are soft and flavourful and infused with minced garlic, fresh coriander, and spices. Cooked with a touch of ghee, they are aromatic and delicious.Served with yoghurt, pickle, or curry, these warm parathas taste particularly great on chilly days.
2 cups whole wheat flour 6-8 cloves garlic fresh coriander leaves green chillies Oil or ghee Water
In a mixing bowl, combine wheat flour, minced garlic, coriander leaves, green chillies, salt, and 2 tbsp of oil or ghee.
Gradually add water and knead into a soft, smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle, dusting with flour as needed.
Heat a tawa or flat pan. Place a rolled paratha on it and cook for 30-40 seconds until bubbles appear.
Flip and spread some oil or ghee on the cooked side. Cook the other side until golden spots appear. Flip again, apply oil, and press lightly with a spatula until both sides are evenly cooked.
Serve hot with curd, pickle, or chutney for a delicious meal.
