Peeling garlic can be such a drag, especially when you need a lot of it for a recipe. But fear not; there are several ways to peel garlic quickly and easily. Here are 7 hacks to peel garlic easily.
Place the garlic clove under a flat knife blade and press down hard. The skin will loosen, and you can peel it off easily.
Microwave garlic cloves for 10-15 seconds. The heat will loosen the skin, and you can peel it off.
Place garlic cloves in a jar, close the lid and shake hard for 10-15 seconds. The skin will separate from the cloves.
Soak garlic cloves in boiling water for 1 minute. The skins will soften and peel off easily.
Use a silicone garlic peeler tube, place the clove inside, and roll it back and forth, and the skin will slip off.
Freeze garlic cloves for a few minutes. Once frozen the skin will be brittle and peel off easily.
Cut the root end of each clove and the skin will loosen and peel off easily.
