Cookies ½ cup butter ½ cup vegetable oil ½ cup granulated sugar ½ cup powdered sugar 1 egg 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 packet of crushed tea leaves 2 cups all-purpose flour ½ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp salt Glaze 1 cup powdered sugar ¼ tsp nutmeg ¼ tsp cinnamon 3 tablespoons milk or eggnog
Beat room-temperature butter on medium speed for about a minute until light and fluffy and then beat in the oil.
Add the granulated sugar, powdered sugar, egg and vanilla to the bowl, and mix again. Add the tea leaves. Mix and then add the flour, baking soda and salt, until fully combined.
Chill the dough for an hour then roll into equal balls, flatten and sprinkle with sugar and bake at 180°C for 8-12 minutes.
Let the cookies cool, combine the ingredients for the glaze and spread some on each cookie before sprinkling with sugar.
