Try Strawberry Jalapeño Mint Julep

The jalapeno-infused simple syrup cools down as it comes into contact with the cool mint and sweet berries, so if you like spicy margaritas, you'll be able to handle the heat here.
Ingredients
1/2 c. water 1/2 c. granulated sugar 2 jalapeños, halved 1/4 c. chopped strawberries 8 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish 1/2 bourbon Ice Strawberry, for garnish Red jalapeño, sliced, for garnish
Step 1
Water, sugar, and jalapenos should all be boiling in a small pot over medium heat. Turn off the heat and allow the room to cool. Throw away jalapenos.
Step 2
Stir strawberries and mint together in a cocktail glass. Whisky and a tbsp of simple syrup should be added.
Step 3
Now fill with ice. Garnish with mint, a strawberry, and red jalapeño slices.
