February is the season of love. Roses are primary to love, too. Why not make something out of roses? Try this recipe to make use of fresh roses to create something unique.

2 cups fresh rose petals 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup water 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon grated ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom Pinch of salt

Wash the rose petals and add the sugar and water. Dissolve the sugar completely to form a syrup.

Add the rose petals once the syrup is ready and cook for about 10-15 minutes.

Then add lemon juice, grated ginger, ground cinnamon, ground cardamom, and a pinch of salt.

Adjust the taste accordingly and let it cool.
