Do you love munching on nachos? However, you’re worried about the calories. Try these homemade nachos loaded with zero additives and low in calories and fats. Chickpeas nachos can be made easily with roasted chickpeas. These homemade nachos make a healthier alternative to traditional chips or tortilla nachos. Tap to know how to make it:

1 cup Chickpea flour (besan) ¼ tsp paprika Salt as needed ¼ tsp cumin powder ¼ tsp garlic powder ½ cup water Cooking oil

Shift the gram flour also known as chickpea flour into a large bowl.

Add the seasoning and spices like salt, cumin powder, paprika, garlic powder. Mix well and evenly distribute the spices.

Gradually add water to the mixture and stir continuously, until you achieve a smooth and thick batter. The amount of water needed may vary.

Line a baking sheet with a parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Pour the batter onto the lined sheet. Using a spatula spread the batter as thinly as possible.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chickpeas nachos become firm and lightly golden around the edges.

Remove the chickpeas nachos from the oven and let it cool slightly. Use a knife and cut it into classic nacho pieces or simple triangles.

Place the individual chickpeas chips back onto the baking sheet, making sure they are not touching one another. Spray cooking oil on them. Bake the chip for 10-15 mins or until they become crisp and golden brown. Serve hot with a dip.
