Try One-Pot Rajma Recipe For Soulful Indulgence

Rajma chawal is the ultimate food combination that is every Indian’s favourite. It is soulful, comforting, nutritious, and lightweight. Here is a one-pot recipe to prepare delicious rajma at home.

Ingredients

1 onion 1 tomato 1 bay leaf 2 cups soaked rajma Salt to taste Oil as needed 1 tsp coriander powder ¼ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp red chilli powder ¼ tsp garam masala 1.5 tsp rajma masala 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

Step 1

Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add powdered mixture to it.

Step 2

Add whole spices and saute them. Meanwhile, chop onions and tomatoes.

Step 3

Add the chopped onions and tomatoes to the mix with splashes of water to prevent the spices from burning.

Step 4

After sauteing for a couple of minutes, add rajma, salt, and water.

Step 5

Cook the ingredients for 4-5 whistles. Let pressure from the cooker release.

Step 6

Stir the rajma and serve it along with steamed rice.
