After aloo, paneer, and gobhi paratha, it is time to move on to corn paratha. It is easy to make and an ideal choice when you are not in the mood to cook in a boiling kitchen. Here is a quick recipe.

Ingredients

2 cups sweet corn 1 boiled potato for binding 2 tsp chilli flakes & garlic powder 1 tsp oregano & grated ginger 1/2 tsp pepper powder 1 tbsp coriander leaves   Salt to taste 1 cup wheat flour

For Tomato Bharta: 4 tomatoes 1 garlic pod A pinch of hing 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp jaggery Salt to taste 1 sprig of curry leaves 1 tbsp coriander leaves 

Step 1

Grind corn and saute them with boiled and mashed potato along with a few spices.

Step 2

Knead a soft dough and keep it aside. Meanwhile, roast tomatoes and remove the skin once they cool off.

Step 3

In a tablespoon of ghee roast or saute spices and other ingredients for tomato bharta. Once the ingredients come together and the paste thickens, keep the chutney aside.

Step 4

Take a small portion of the dough, roll it, fill it with corn and potato stuffing, and roll it into a paratha. After cooking, serve the paratha with tomato bharta.
