One pot meals come to the rescue when you want to have something delicious yet quick. This protein-rich hara bhara khichadi recipe by Khandani Rajdhani is just what you need this monsoon.
1 cup Green Split Moong 1 cup rice soaked and drain water after 30 minutes ½ cup Palak paste (puree) ½ cup Grams Beans ½ cup Cube Carrot 1/4 cup Grated cheese ¼ cup Green Peas 2 Nos Spring Onion Finely Chopped 2 Table Spoon Ghee ½ Jeera (Cumin Seed)
1 Table Spoon Chopped Garlic 1 Table Spoon Chopped Green chilli ¼ Table spoon Hing Powder ½ Table Spoon Ginger paste 1 Table Spoon Chops onion Salt to taste For Tadka 2 table spoon Ghee 1 Table Spoon Garlic, finely chopped
Heat ghee in a Kadai, add cumin seeds, garlic chops, hing and onion and sauté. Add Green peas and green Moong Dal and rice mix .
Add cut beans and carrot and 5 cup water and till cooks. Add Palak paste, green peas and spring Onion mix and cook 2 minutes.
Add cheese mix and cook 1 minute. Serve hot Garnished with Grated cheese.
