Try A Tangy Flame Grilled Tomato Chutney

This Bihari-style chutney is full of rich smoky flavours that will up the yum factor of any boring meal.

Ingredients

2 medium size tomatoes 1 small green chili(finely chopped) 2 medium size garlic cloves 2 tsp mustard oil 1 tsp fresh cilantro chopped 1 tbsp onion (finely chopped) Salt

Step 1

Rub a little mustard oil on each tomato, cut a hole and poke in one clove of garlic. Place the tomato on a gas stove and let it char evenly all over.

Step 2

Peel off the skins, mash the tomatoes and add all the finely chopped veggies and spices. Let it cool, refrigerate and serve alongside any meal.
