Tricks To Make Homemade Cherry Gin

Cherries and gin are a match made in heaven.  Slightly sweet, slightly sour, have this easy breezy liqueur at the ready in no time.

Ingredients

500 gms cherries 750 ml gin 150 gm castor sugar

Step 1

Wash and pit the cherries and put them in a large airtight jar with the gin and sugar, shake to combine.

Step 2

Shake the container every 2-3 days and in 3 weeks decant it into a glass bottle. For a stronger cherry taste leave it up to 3 months.
