Loaded with the goodness of basil leaves, broccoli, garlic and other ingredients, this Broccoli Pesto can amp up your pasta meals. Check out the recipe and give it a try.

1 cup broccoli florets ½ cup fresh basil 1/3 cup fresh parsley 4 garlic cloves 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil ½ tsp salt ½ cup parmesan, grated 1 tsp lemon zest 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp black pepper powder
Heat water in a large pot, bring it to a boil, then add the broccoli. Leave it for a minute, then drain and set aside.

Once the broccoli cools down, place it in a mixer and grind into a coarse paste.

Add the basil, parsley, garlic, olive oil, salt, cheese, black pepper, lemon zest and lemon juice.

Now, grind this mix into a coarse paste. If it is too thick, add a bit more olive oil and lemon juice.

Transfer the Broccoli Pesto into a sealed jar and use it for your pasta or toasts whenever you need.
