Need a tasty treat that's simple to whip up but yet packs a punch? Delicious, mashed banana fritters are the answer; they take ripe bananas and turn them into golden, crispy treats.
2 ripe bananas, mashed ½ cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons sugar ½ teaspoon baking powder Pinch of salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Vegetable oil, for frying
In a bowl, combine the mashed bananas, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of the banana batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm and enjoy the irresistible combination of crispy exterior and soft, sweet banana filling.
