Tofu is really good for people who are looking for non-dairy and protein rich replacement for paneer. It has slowly become very popular in Indian markets.

What is Tofu?

Also called bean curd, tofu is prepared by coagulating soy milk. It is pressed, made into curd and further into solid white blocks of tofu.

Versatile Ingredient

 It has a subtle flavour, so it can be used in savoury and sweet dishes. Due to its spongy texture, it absorbs all flavours well.

Healthy Option

tofu is low in calories, while being protein rich at the same time. It is high in iron, calcium and magnesium content too.
