To Avoid Premature Hair Greying Include These Foods

Even while we have little control over the genetic component of how quickly our hair greys, making a few small changes to your lifestyle will help you delay the greying process. A nutritious diet and active lifestyle are beneficial for the health of your skin and hair in addition to your general well-being. 

Dark chocolate   

Surprisingly, dark chocolate is full with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Antioxidants aid in the removal of pollutants from the body that may be causing early hair ageing. 

Eggs

The body needs protein to maintain the health of our hair, and eggs are a great source of it. It also contains a lot of vitamin B12, a vitamin whose lack is associated with early greying. 

Dairy products 

Milk, cheese, yoghurt, and other dairy products are full of protein, calcium, vitamin B12, and other elements that help the body make melanin. 

Lentils 

Vitamin B9 and other nutrients that support the health of our hair are abundant in lentils.  

Mushrooms 

Copper is plentiful in mushrooms. Melanin is the pigment responsible for giving our skin and hair their colour. Copper helps to make this pigment. 

Amla 

Every day, consume six ounces of fresh amla juice, and once a week, treat your hair with amla oil.  

Black sesame seeds 

Eat a tablespoon of black sesame seeds two to three times per week to slow down and possibly stop the greying process. 

Green leafy vegetables are extremely high in calcium, vitamins, iron, folate, and other nutrients that promote healthy hair.
