Follow these tips to prevent your gulab jamuns from breaking.
Always start frying at a low to medium temperature then gradually increase the heat.
Even the tiniest cracks while shaping gulab jamuns can break them while frying.
Making the dough too sticky or too dry also results in breakage while frying.
Always apply a little bit of ghee before shaping the gulab jamun balls to give them perfect shape.
Add a pinch of corn flour or baking powder to the dough while kneading to prevent breakage while frying.
