If the food overstays or there is an accidental spillage in the fridge, it is likely that it will stink. Follow these tips to get rid of the fridge’s odour.
The easiest way is to place baking soda in a bowl in the fridge and leave it for a couple of hours, as it has odour-killing properties.
On a regular basis, you can choose to keep two slices of diced lemons in the fridge and change it every week. The absorbency of lemons will keep the odour away.
Ever thought of what you will do with your expired pack of Oatmeal? Place an aluminium or ceramic bowl of your expired oatmeal in the fridge and see it absorb the odour.
Place a cup of white vinegar in your fridge to neutralize the bad smell. Don’t forget to change it twice a week.
Potatoes are flexible, and undoubtedly, they can be used to do away with the odour. Peel a potato and slice it into two halves and keep them in the fridge. Repeat after two to three days.
Take one half of a lemon or orange and put 5-6 cloves in it. The strong smell of citrus and cloves will neutralise the pungent bad odour of the fridge.
