Fasting during Ramadan can take a toll on your body if not done properly. Here are some tips to keep your energy levels high while fasting and staying fresh.
Break your fast with a lot of fluids and water first before eating solid food.
Do not over eat or eat foods that will not provide enough energy. Say no to packed foods and eat fresh fruits or protein rich items.
Eat green veggies along with protein rich meals to get nutrients and fibre.
Do not eat your meal in rush. Savour the food and eat it slowly.
Dates in all forms - as it is, in the form of a dessert or a smoothie should be consumed. It keeps you full.
