Knives are an important tool of the kitchen. Here are five tips for cleaning them.
If there are any stubborn stains on the knives, soak them in warm, soapy water for few minutes. Then scrub with a toothbrush.
In order to use your knives for a longer duration, make sure you dry and oil the blade after cleaning.
To clean the rust from a knife, cover the blade with a paste of baking soda and water and scrub the paste off.
Use a sponge instead of abrasive materials like steel wool to clean your knives.
If there are any black spots in your knife, clean it by soaking the blade in a mixture of lemon juice and water in the ratio of 1:5.
