Leafy greens are great to consume in summers. But the problem is storing and keeping them fresh for a long time. Here are some tips you can use to store these leafy greens.
Wash the leafy greens only before using them to cook. Wash thoroughly to get the dirt off.
Wrap the cilantro in a newspaper and put it inside an air-tight container.
Do not let the greens come in contact with moisture unless you are about to cook them.
Store the spinach with the roots intact to keep it fresh for a longer period of time.
You can make chutneys out of the mint and cilantro and save them to eat with main course or snacks.
