Parathe are one of India's most favourite breakfast dishes. Aloo, paneer or gobhi - stuffed parathas are delicious. Here are some tips to make perfect parathas at home.
Mix salt and oil to the flour well before adding water and making the dough.
The filling of the paratha is very important. Do not make it too soft, or the stuffing will spill out.
Make your parathas in ghee instead of cooking oil for better texture and crisp.
Use minimum pressure while rolling out the parathas so that the filling does not spill out.
First cook the paratha on both sides without ghee. This helps the paratha cook better from the inside.
