A nutrition packed twist on the tea time cookie is the perfectly petite baked good to dip in your tea and enjoy a few pieces of, without the guilt.
½ cup oats flour 1 cup almond flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 pinch salt 2 tablespoons maple syrup ¼ cup coconut oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Fruit jam of choice
Mix together the dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
Whisk together the maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla extract and pour into the dry mixture to form a dough.
Rest for 35-40 minutes and roll out into tiny, lemon-sized balls.
Place each of them on a baking tray and make an indent in the centre using your thumb to form a well.
Bake in a preheated oven at 169 degrees for 15-20 minutes before you let them cool completely.
Using a piping bag or teaspoon, spoon some jam into the well in the centre and serve with tea or coffee.
