This Season, Try Out Kareena Kapoor’s Favourite Fish Curry; Recipe Inside

Don’t know if you’re a fish lover or not, but the Jaane Jaan actress, Kareena Kapoor is definitely a one. Recently, taking to Instagram Malaika Arora’s mother Joyce Arora shared her secret fish curry recipe that is loved by all her daughters and also Kereena Kapoor. Tap to know the recipe:

Ingredients

1 medium sized pomfret 1 cup grated coconut 5-6 Kashmiri red chillies 3-4 pandi chillies 1 onion 1 tsp coriander seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 6-7 garlic cloves 2 tsp peppercorns 1 raw mango 2-4 drumsticks 3-4 okra 1 triphala 1 tbsp tamarind Salt to taste 2 tbsp cookig oil 1 tsp mustard seeds 6-8 curry leaves 2-4 green chillies

Step 1 

Grind garlic, chilli, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, peppercorns, onions, coconut and tamarind into a smooth paste.

Step 2

In a kadhai, add curry leaves, mustard seeds, and green chillies and allow them to crackle.

Step

Add the ground masala paste, pieces of drumsticks, and triphala (without seeds). Let it cook for on 5 minutes on medium to high flame.

Step 4 

Add salt and sliced mango to the gravy and let it cook.

Step 5 

Cover and cook for 5 minutes and more.

Step 6 

Add the fish pieces and also the okra. Give the curry a gentle stir and let the curry come to a boil.

Step 7 

Cook for another 7 minutes and serve hot with rice.
