Kuttu paratha is a crucial part of the spread of fasting. People who abstain from eating anything during the day often consume this flatbread along with a curry, raita, and a few other things on the spread. Here is a quick recipe.
1 cup kuttu or buckwheat flour 1 boiled potato 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tbsp coriander leaves ½ cup crumbled paneer (optional) 1 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp ajwain seeds
Take a deep vessel and pour flour in it.
Add mashed potatoes, spices, paneer, and coriander leaves.
Knead a soft dough using water in a small amount.
Take a small amount of dough, shape it into a sphere, and roll it.
Gradually pick it up and drop it on a hot skillet.
Use ghee to roast both sides and serve it.
