This Monsoon Try These Crunchy Chana Dal Pakode

Indulge in the crispy goodness of Chana Dal Pakode with this easy recipe. Made with soaked chana dal, aromatic spices, and a hint of ginger.

Ingredients

1 cup chana dal (split Bengal gram) 1 onion, chopped 2 green chilies, chopped 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves 1 tsp ginger paste 1 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp  red chili powder 1/2 tsp  turmeric powder Salt to taste Oil for deep frying

Step 1

Wash the chana dal thoroughly and soak it in water for about 4-5 hours. Now drain and blend.

Step 2

Transfer the ground chana dal to a bowl and add chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, ginger paste and cumin seeds.

Step 3

Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to combine. In a pan heat oil.

Step 4

Now Take small portions of the chana dal mixture in your hands and shape it into a small round pakora.

Step 5

Carefully fry them until golden brown and crispy. Drain access oil and serve with chutney!
