Ingredients

2 cups boiled kathal 1 tbsp garam masala Mustard oil Boiled potatoes Salt as required 1 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp haldi powder 1 tsp jeera powder 1 tsp dhaniya powder A pinch of sugar Coriander leaves Bay leaves Ginger paste

Step 1

In a pressure cooker, heat up mustard oil. Add bay leaves and sugar.

Step 2

Add the ginger paste and cook for 2 minutes. Add the kathal and potatoes.

Step 3

Add the powdered spices, except garam masala and mix everything well. Add a little water and cover it.

Step 4

Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes on low flame. Adjust the water consistency.

Step 5

Remove off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with hot puris or rice.
