Ingredients

– 1 cup rolled oats – 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee – 1 cup milk – 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract – A pinch of salt – Sliced bananas, berries, or apples – Chopped nuts (like almonds, walnuts, or hazelnuts) – A sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder

Step 1

In a saucepan, combine the oats, brewed espresso, milk, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Once the mixture starts to thicken, add in  the vanilla extract and sweetener (if using).
