If you are a fan of coffee and chocolate, this is exactly the cake you need to bake this Christmas.
Ingredients
1 ½ cup of self raising flour
2 tbsp sweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp coffee powder
1 tsp coffee essence
1 cup assorted dry fruits
1 cup nuts
Handful of raisins

A pinch of salt
½ cup dark chocolate shavings
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 ½ cup milk
2 eggs
Add coffee essence, coffee powder and milk in a large bowl. Whisk it well.
Chop and crush the dry fruits and nuts, and soak in milk mixture. Now strain the flour and dry ingredients in a bowl using a sieve. Add salt and mix well.
Whisk butter, egg and sugar together in another bowl.
Now add the dry ingredients with the egg mixture and whisk well until it is lump-free. Add the milk-coffee ix and dry fruits too. Mix the batter well.
Pour the whisked batter in a baking tray and garnish with crushed dark chocolate. Bake for about 50 minutes and serve.
