This Carrot Soup Is Perfect For Weight Loss In Winters

Low in calories and full of fibre, carrot keeps us full for long, keeping us away from untimely hunger pangs and leading to weight loss. It also helps in bile secretion which burns fat.

Ingredients

200 gms carrot 1 onion 2-3 garlic cloves 1 tsp ginger ½ tbsp black pepper ½ tbsp roasted cumin  powder ½ tbsp chaat masala 1 tbsp olive oil ½ tbsp cream Salt to taste

Peel, clean and cut the carrots, onions, garlic cloves and ginger. Pressure cook them with 2 cups of water and 2 whistles.

Sieve the veggies but keep the stock for later. Blend the veggies into a smooth puree.

Now heat a pan and add the stock. Bring it to boil. Add the veggie puree to it and mix it well.

Add salt, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder and olive oil. Keep stirring.

Once done, add cream on top and serve hot.
