If you were thinking that oats can only be eaten for breakfast, you’re mistaken. Here are some yum lunch recipes made with oats.
The comfort dish of many households, khichdi is a delicious amalgamation of rice and dal. However, oats substitute rice and this khichdi becomes a healthy lunch dish.
Craving manchurian but want to eat healthy? Wrap the veggie manchurian balls in oat flour and bake them instead of frying before dipping in hot gravy.
Ditch the rice for this oats version of pulao. Fill the oats with onion, coriander, coconut, garlic, carrots, peas and all your favourite vegetables and cook in a pot.
While this may sound slightly unusual, oats curry is a flavourful gravy made of oats flour, vegetables and yoghurt. Mix it all together and serve hot with rice.
Replace the wheat flour with oats atta for making rotis. You can add some coriander leaves and onions to it and roll it into a round shape.
