15 green chillies (chopped) 10 cloves garlic (chopped) 1 tsp oil 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp Asafoetida (hing) Salt to taste 1/2 cup Bacon chunks
First grind together the green chillies, garlic and salt to a coarse paste in a mortar and pestle or a blender.
Now, heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the mustard seeds and once they splutter add the asafoetida and turn off the heat.
For the bacon twist, add bacon chunks to the hand pounded thecha and, cook them slowly in bacon fat.
Pour the prepared tempering over the bacon thecha and mix well.
