The Ultimate Momo Chutney To Add Heat This Winter

Winter is the best season to indulge in spicy foods and this Momo Chutney is perfect for it! Make it at home, store it and enjoy it not only with momos, but any dish you want. Here's the recipe.

Ingredients

3 tomatoes, chopped 4-5 dry red chillies 4 garlic cloves ½ inch ginger 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tsp vinegar 1 tsp sugar 2 cups water ½ tsp salt

Step 1

Place tomatoes, dry red chillies, garlic, ginger and salt in a large pan. Add water and bring to a boil.

Step 2

Cook the tomatoes and chillies until the mix turns slightly mushy.

Step 3

Now add the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and adjust the salt. Cook for 10 minutes, then let it rest.

Step 4

Once the mix is completely cool, place in a mixer and grind into a fine paste.

Step 5

Transfer the Momo Chutney into a jar and store in the refrigerator for upto a week.
