The Perfect 10-Minute Aloo Jeera Recipe

Are you missing the simple yet delicious dish, Aloo Jeera made by your mother or grandmother? Nothing to worry! We will tell you how to make Aloo Jeera in 10 minutes at home. You can enjoy it with Roti or Jeera Rice and Dal. Thus, check out the steps:

Ingredients

3 medium potatoes boiled 2 tbsp ghee 1 tbsp oil 1 inch grated ginger 2-3 green chillies 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp amchur 1 pinch hing 2 handful coriander leaves Salt and pepper as per taste

Step 1

Firstly wash the potatoes thoroughly.

Step 2

Next, peel the potatoes and boil them.

Step 3

Meanwhile , in a pan add ghee. Let the ghee get warm. Add the start ingredient Jeera. Ghee roast it for a minute till it turns fragrant.

Step 4

To this add grated ginger, chopped green chillies. Saute them well.

Step 5

Add the masalas and cook nicely till the raw smell vanishes.

Step 6

Add the boiled potatoes now and toss them well so that all the spices cover the potatoes. You can also add a little water if the masalas dry up

Step 7

Cover and cook for few minutes.

Step 8

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or jeera rice and dal.
