Teej, the Sawan-special festival, is all about some warm and confronting authentic desserts. One of the traditional desserts made for the festival is malpua. Why don’t you follow these steps and make it at home?
1 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup sooji 3/4 cup milk 3/4 cup sugar A pinch of cardamom powder Oil for frying
Mix atta, sooji, sugar, cardamom powder, and milk for a consistent batter. Let it rest.
Heat some oil. Pour a ladleful of batter into the oil, allowing it to spread into a circle.
Deep-fry till both sides are golden brown.
Drain excess oil, garnish with chopped nuts, and enjoy.
