A tangy, spicy, slightly sweet plum chutney goes with many dishes. It is a delicious side dish and here is a simple recipe to make this yummy chutney.

2 cups ripe plums, pitted and chopped 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup white vinegar 1 small onion, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon grated ginger 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste) Salt to taste

Whip up a tangy plum chutney by simmering 2 cups of chopped ripe plums with 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup white vinegar.

Add finely chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and a pinch of red pepper flakes.

Cook until plums soften, then gently mash. Adjust seasoning and let it cool. Enjoy!
