Pickled red cabbage is incredibly easy inexpensive dish and makes the ideal pink accent to salads, tacos, and so many other dishes. It tastes amazing and is crunchy, sweet, and tangy.
4 cups of shredded red cabbage 1 cup of apple cider vinegar 1 cup of water 2-3 tbsp maple syrup (or sugar) Salt, pepper Flavorings of your choice
Take a jar and add cabbage garlic, chills and ginger. In a bowl mix together vinegar, water, maple syrup, salt and pepper.
Now Cover the cabbage after pouring on the marinade. Let it sit at room temperature for around 2-6 hours.
Mix it occasionally and Now put the mixture in fridge for 2-6 hours until ready to serve.
You can preserve the Pickled Red Cabbage for 2 weeks Enjoy as a slide.
