There is hardly any person who does not love fries. The crispy potato sticks with a sprinkle of salt (and masala) suit everyone’s taste buds. However, for guilt-free indulgence, you need to replace regular potatoes with sweet potatoes. Try this recipe.
2 tbsp cornstarch 2 tbsp virgin olive oil 2 large sweet potatoes Peri peri masala or spice mix Salt to taste
Preheat the oven to 220°C while you peel sweet potatoes and cut them into the shape of fries.
Keep a baking tray ready lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle some cornstarch on fries so that they come out crispy from the oven.
After drizzling olive oil and tossing the fries, bake them for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle salt to taste and spice mixture on the top. Give fries a toss.
Pour the fries into a bowl and enjoy with a milkshake or any other beverage of your choice.
