Sweet Meetha Chilla for Festive Indulgence

Meetha Chilla is the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth. You may eat this for breakfast or dessert because it's so delicious, sweet and nutritious. For satisfying your sugar cravings without feeling guilty, try this recipe made with jaggery and wheat flour.

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour 1 cup jaggery powder 2 cups water 1 teaspoon fennel seeds powder/sauf powder oil/ghee for cooking

Step 1

Put the jaggery and water in a pan and heat on low until the jaggery is completely dissolved.

Step 2

Add whole wheat flour to a big bowl. Slowly add a little jaggery water so that the mixture doesn't stick together.

Step 3

Stir in some ground fennel seeds. For the next 5 minutes, leave the batter to rest.

Step 4

To prepare the chillas, heat the nonstick pan over medium heat and add the ghee. Use a tissue to remove any extra ghee.

Step 5

Now, use a big spoon to spread the batter out into a round shape, like we do when we make dosa. Whichever you like, you can make them thick or thin.

Step 6

Place a lid on top and cook on medium heat for two to three minutes on each side, or until it's done. Serve hot.
