Some days, comfort food is the need of the hour. This super simple chicken dish oozes with warm and satisyfing flavours.
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 4 tablespoons butter 4 cloves of garlic, minced 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 cup chicken broth 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.And pllace the them in the skillet and cook them for about 6-8 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown.
Set them aside and in the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and dried oregano. Sauté for about a minute or until the garlic becomes fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for a couple of minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the chicken and sauce for a burst of fresh flavour.
Serve the butter garlic chicken hot with your choice of side dishes, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or pasta.
