Enjoy a jug of sangria as you relish the warm summer days. It's a great sharing cocktail made with red wine, Spanish brandy, sparkling water, cinnamon, and chopped fruit.
2 oranges chopped, 2 pears chopped, 2 lemons , 1 chopped, 1 juiced, 200g red berries ( cranberry and strawberries) , 3 tbsp caster sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon ice, 750ml bottle light red wine, 100ml brandy, 300ml sparkling water
Cut the fruit immediately. Add the sugar and cinnamon to a bowl with the chopped fruit, then whisk to combine
Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least one hour and ideally overnight to macerate
Now Fill a large jug with desired amount of ice. Stir the macerated fruit mixture.
Make sure the sugar is dissolved, then tip into the jug with the wine and brandy.
Now Stir, then top up with the sparkling water and serve it chilled top with fruits and enjoy!
