Summer Special Mango Sticky Rice Pop With Raw Mango Kadhi By Shrabanti Banik

Mangoes are the heart of the summer season. If you want to bring the summer flavours to your plate, try this unique sticky rice pop with raw mango kadhi recipe shared by Shrabanti Banik.

Ingredients

1 cup rice 1/2 cup raw mango pulp 1 cup coconut milk 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup besan 1 cup curd 3 cup sliced onion 1 tbsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp cumin powder 1 tbsp red chilli powder 1/4 tbsp black pepper 1 tbsp sesame seeds 1/4 tbsp mustard Seeds 11 raw mango slices Salt to taste

Step 1

Wash sticky rice and soak it for 1 hour. Put it in a muslin cloth and steam it till half-done.

Step 2

Put coconut milk in a pot, add sugar and salt. Keep on stirring it on a slow flame till it becomes a little thick, then pack it with coconut milk.

Step 3

Put sticky rice in a popsicle shape with a stick and garnish with sliced mangoes and sesame seeds.

Step 4

Make the kadhi by boiling peeled mangoes and mixing in dhania, garam masala, sugar, and salt.

Step 5

Heat some oil and add mastered seeds, kadhi patta, red chilli powder, and black pepper.

Step 6

Add onions, mango mixture, and coconut milk and let it simmer. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
