With the addition of soaked chia seeds, homemade yoghurt, and fragrant spices, this South Indian staple takes a delicious new turn in Chia Seeds Yoghurt Rice. With its refreshing texture and perfect blend of flavours, this savoury dish is the perfect complement to any meal.
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds 1.5 Cups Curd (225g) 1 Tsp Flaxseed Powder 0.25 Cup Grated Carrot Black Salt to taste 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper 1 Tsp Jeera Powder 1 Tsp Ghee 4-5 Raw Peanuts Curry Leaves, 1 Sprig Pomegranate for garnish
Soak chia seeds in water until bloomed. Mix soaked chia seeds with curd.
Add flaxseed powder, jeera powder, salt, and pepper. Mix in grated carrots.
Prepare tempering with ghee, peanuts, and curry leaves. Garnish with coriander and pomegranate seeds before serving.
