Summer-Friendly Crispy Corn Recipe For Tea-Time Snacking

In summer, you are always looking for lightweight snacks to pair with evening tea or coffee. The crispy corn recipe fits right into the description. Though they are deep-fried, you can also make them in the air fryer and enjoy guilt-free snacking.

Ingredients

6 tablespoons corn flour 3 cups boiled corn kernels Salt to taste 6 tablespoons rice flour ½ teaspoon black pepper powder 1 teaspoon chaat masala 1 chopped onion 2 tablespoons coriander leaves 1 tablespoon lemon juice Oil for frying

Step 1

Start by boiling corn. Strain water and keep them aside on a paper towel to dry.

Step 2

When kernels are still hot, add them to a mixture of corn and rice flour seasoned with salt and black pepper.

Step 3

Toss kernels around and leave for 5 minutes. You will witness that each kernel will be coated in a mixture of rice and corn flour.

Step 4

Deep fry corn kernels in hot oil until they are crispy. You can also air fry them.

Step 5

Toss crispy corn with onion, lemon juice, and coriander leaves in a bowl. Sprinkle red chilli powder, if you like, and chaat masala.

Step 6

Enjoy crispy corn with tea or coffee in the evening.
