Protecting yourself from mosquito-borne illnesses like dengue fever is especially important during the monsoon. Here are some remedies you can try at home to ease your symptoms and speed up your healing process.
Avoid dehydration by sipping water, coconut water, or herbal teas regularly.
Increase your platelet count by drinking papaya leaf juice.
If you want to reduce inflammation, try tulsi tea or chewing on tulsi leaves.
To boost your defences, try drinking some giloy juice or a decoction made from the plant.
To treat dengue fever, boil neem leaves in water and consume the resulting tea.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables and lean protein to keep your immune system strong.
Incorporate bell peppers, amla (Indian gooseberry), and citrus fruits into your diet to strengthen your immune system.
