It is the season of cold. As winter knocks on the door, people cannot decide whether they should wear sweaters or sleep in AC. Hence, shifting between hot and cold temperatures leaves them with congested lungs and a blocked nose. Try this kadha recipe.

Ingredients

2 cups water 4-5 cloves 5-6 tulsi leaves 2-inch cinnamon 1-inch ginger 4-5 peppercorn ½ tsp honey

Step 1

Add water to a pan and let it heat.

Step 2

Add cinnamon, peppercorn, and cloves in it, and let them simmer.

Step 3

Once the water starts boiling, add ginger to it.

Step 4

Turn off the flame and add tulsi leaves.

Step 5

Once the water has cooled off slightly, strain it in a glass.

Step 6

Add a teaspoon of honey before consuming it hot.
