250 gms strawberries 1 ripe apple 50 gms sugar 2 tbsp amaretto syrup 3 tbsp melted butter 1 packet premade puff pastry
Peel and core the apple and top the strawberries. Dice them into even sizes and add to a saucepan. Add the sugar and amaretto syrup and heat gently for 20-30 minutes until it starts to thicken.
Let the filling cool and then spoon some into the centre of each puff pastry piece and fold into a triangle. Poke some holes in the top, brush with melted butter and bake at 190°C for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden.
