Sonam Kapoor loves maintaining a balanced diet for weight loss. Recently she cooked stir-fried tofu for her husband. The dish is full of nutrition and is healthy helping in the weight loss journey.
250 gms Tofu 2 tsp sesame oil 2 tbsp soy sauce 3 cloves garlic 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup rice vinegar 2 tsp Sriracha sauce 2 tbsp cornstarch 1 tbsp sesame oil 2 tbsp spring onion 1/2 coloured capsicum 2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
Make a slurry made of cornstarch and water
Dip the tofu in the slurry and coat them. Fry them in sesame oil.
In a kadai, heat sesame oil in low flame
Add chopped garlic, yellow and green capsicum and spring onions. Saute for 30 seconds.
Now add, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, Sriracha sauce. Cook till the raw smell of the condiments go away.
Add cornstarch and water to the sauce and veggies mixture. Ad salt as required.
Lastly, add pan fried tofu and stir well for 2 minutes. Garnish with roasted sesame seeds. serve hot.
