Bihari cuisine is known by the name of Litti-chokha. And although the cuisine is way more than just this one dish, the popularity of litti is undeniable. Let us learn how to make it.
First, make a smooth wheat flour dough. Then take sattu, add spices of you choice and make a slightly dry filling.
Take medium sized ball of the dough and add the sattu filling to it. Then shape them into balls.
On an angithi, heat up coal and put a grill on top of it. Cook your littis on top of it till they are done. You can also deep fry them instead.
Dip the prepared littis in ghee after breaking it a little, so that the ghee is soaked up.
For the chokha, take mashed potatoes and grilled tomatoes.Mix them together with spices, chopped onions and mustard oil.
