Marinate the mutton for 3-4 hours with mustard oil, curd, salt, turmeric-cumin-red chilli-coriander powder.
In a pressure cooker heat up 1 cup mustard oil. Add bay leaves. Add sliced onions and fry till they are golden.
Next, add tomato, giner, garlic, green chilli and onion paste. Cook for 10 mins and add meat masala.
Now, add the marinated mutton and cook on low flame for 45 mins. When the oil separates,add water and close the pressure cooker.
After 5 whistles, switch off the flame. Garnish with some garam masala and coriander leaves. Serve with steamed rice.
